For the third year running, the International Film Music Conference was held in Úbeda, Spain. The event took place between Thursday 19th and Sunday 22nd July.

Composers, and other film music industry attendees included David Arnold, John Powell, John Debney, Bruce Broughton, John Scott, Robert Townson, Richard Kraft and Laura Engel.

Arnold gave a fascinating talk, covering Godzilla and ID4 as well as James Bond.

The four day event was capped off by a stunning concert on Saturday night and a chance for fans to have their facourite composers sign CDs on Sunday morning.

At the concert, Arnold conducted and from Casino Royale, including City of Lovers. Arnold said on his official site, "My apologies to anyone who watched me conduct Bond with a breadstick. I did warn the audience I wasnt a conductor, but we had fun anyway!"
