David Arnold to perform at 2007 BBC Electric Proms in October

According to a slip made by British band the Kaiser Chiefs, James Bond composer David Arnold will be performing at the 2007 BBC Electric Proms.

The BBC has been keen to keep the list of performers secret until September, but the Kaiser Chiefs lead man Ricky Wilson gave away the news to thousands of fans at a gig in Sydney on Sunday. "We are the Kaiser Chiefs... and sometime soon... we'll be appearing at the BBC Electric Proms... with help from our friend David Arnold. We'll see you there and have a great time. Bye!"

As well as composing film scores, David Arnold has worked with several artists including Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Jarvis Cocker and Björk - although Wilson didn't specify how he would be involved with Kaiser Chiefs for the Electric Proms event - due to be held between October 24th and 28th.
