Honor `Pussy Galore` Blackman pulls one-woman show

There will sadly be no Pussy Galore heading to Buxton Opera House later this month - after former James Bond girl Honor Blackman cancelled her one-woman-show appearance - reports the Manchester Evening News.

Honor had been due to talk about her life in showbiz - including famous roles like Pussy Galore in Goldfinger and Cathy Gale in The Avengers - in her show Word Of Honor on August 29.

Only last week she told the M.E.N how much she had been looking forward to the visit to Buxton - as the Derbyshire town held many happy memories for her.

But sadly, she can no longer honour the commitment.

A spokesman for the theatre said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances Honor is no longer coming to the theatre. We're looking in the future for her to come another time."
