Halle Berry pregnant with first baby

Hollywood actress Halle Berry, who played Jinx in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day, has revealed she is expecting her first child with partner Gabriel Aubry - reports the BBC.

Berry, 41, confirmed she was three months pregnant in an e-mail to US cable television show Access Hollywood.

"Yes, I am three months pregnant," Berry wrote in an e-mail to the programme. "Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next ... months will be the longest of my life!"

Berry met 32-year-old male model Aubry on a photo shoot for fashion house Versace in November 2005.



The actress said earlier this year she wanted to have children, but did not want to marry for a third time.

Her previous marriages - to baseball player David Justice and R&B singer Eric Benet - both ended in divorce.

"I will never, never get married again," she told InStyle magazine in April. Actually, it's just that now I've come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper."

Berry, who won a best actress Oscar for her role in Monster's Ball, recently starred opposite Bruce Willis in the film Perfect Stranger.

She recently finished filming Things We Lost in the Fire, about a widow inviting her dead husband's best friend to live with her and her children.
