Ask women who their version of the ideal man is and they might answer Brad Pitt or George Clooney. But ask men the same question and they'll have a very different answer - reports

Men would most like to emulate well known personalities like former boxer Muhammad Ali, former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, and former James Bond star Sean Connery.
Connery was one of the top picks on account of his success, confidence, maturity and class, aspects men judge when it comes to selecting their ideal role model.
Ali and Kennedy also made the GQ Magazine top 10 list, as did Oscar-winning star Jack Nicholson, and basketball star Michael Jordan. Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Johnny Depp, Al Pacino and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady also made the cut.
Brady, a three-time Super Bowl champion, is the youngest name on the list at 30, while Jordan and Depp are in their 40s. The rest are 60 years old and up.
"This is the list of men that men would like to be. You have to be more than just a handsome face," said the magazine's style editor Adam Rapoport.
"Style goes beyond clothes. It is about how you carry yourself -- and there has to be some weight to the guy, some integrity, some gravitas. Everyone in this list had to have a genuine sense of personal style."
The magazine's editors chose 50 stylish men from the past five decades to celebrate its 50th anniversary of being in print. It appears on newsstands this week. The individuals weren't ranked but Rapoport suggested Connery might top the list if they had been.
"Sean Connery as James Bond is the ultimate man's character, the blueprint -- dashing, witty, handsome, well-dressed with the fast car and the gadgets, who can kick some arse if he wants to," he said.
"These are other men that men can admire and relate to. There are lots of pretty faces out there that women find sexy but this is for the guys."
