Bond girl Teri Hatcher (TND`s Paris Carver) files for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court

19-Mar-2003 • Bond News

In divorce papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and made public this month, Teri Hatcher, 38, cited irreconcilable differences for ending her marriage to Tenney, 41.

The couple have agreed to share custody of their 5-year-old daughter, who will live with Hatcher, according to court papers. The two performers were wed in May 1994 and separated on Jan. 17, the filing said. A division of the couple`s assets has not been settled.

A former professional cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers football team, Hatcher got her first prime-time role playing a mermaid on the old "Love Boat" romantic comedy series in 1985.

But her big break came in the 1990s TV make-over of the Superman comic book legend, "Lois & Clark," starring as Lois Lane, the career-obsessed reporter who falls for the Man of Steel, unaware at first that he and her mild-mannered newspaper colleague, Clark Kent, are the same guy. The series, which ran on ABC from 1993 to 1997, ended with Lois and Clark as a married couple.

Hatcher made her blockbuster movie debut as 007`s ex-girlfriend Paris Carver, who married the media mogul Elliot Carver in 1997`s "Tomorrow Never Dies".

It was well known at the time that Hatcher did not get on very well with 007 during the production and frequently clashed with Brosnan.
