Canada TV - `Casino Royale` to premiere on Mpix OnDemand in Novemeber

Danger, adventure, martinis "shaken, not stirred" and the most iconic secret agent in the history of film infiltrate Astral Media's classic film channel Mpix as part of The Ultimate Bond Event beginning Friday, November 16, 2007. For the first time ever on Canadian television, 18 classic Bond films will air uncut and commercial-free and will be available in High Definition 5.1. on Mpix HD. The event culminates with the premiere of the latest Bond blockbuster Casino Royale on Saturday, November 24 at 9 p.m. ET on Mpix's affiliate channel, The Movie Network.

As an added bonus and prior to the films' network premieres, subscribers will have the chance to preview all 18 Bond films - along with four documentaries about Agent 007 - at their convenience on Mpix OnDemand beginning Tuesday, November 13.

"The Ultimate Bond Event is an exclusive event unparallel to anything viewers have seen on Canadian television. The nine-day affair will not only give subscribers the chance to experience the electrifying, alluring and jet-setting world of James Bond, but they will be able to do so with the superb audio and visual quality of high definition and the convenience of on demand," said Kevin Wright, SVP Programming, Astral Television Networks. "This kind of programming is an example of the classic films and Hollywood-hit movies subscribers can always find on The Movie Network and Mpix."

This holiday season, Mpix subscribers can also ring in the New Year with James Bond during a 007 movie marathon that will feature all 18 films and four documentaries airing back-to-back beginning Monday, December 31, 2007 at 6:00 a.m. ET, with the last film beginning at 11:15 p.m. ET on Tuesday, January 1, 2008.
