Daniel Craig ranked #6 in 2007 AskMen top 49

After a one-month period that saw more than one million votes cast, AskMen.com’s Top 49 Men of 2007 have been chosen, and the list is now revealed. They spent the past few weeks sifting through the votes and assembling the rankings of the guys that deemed to be the best representatives of the gender – this year’s manliest men.

James Bond actor Daniel Craig landed the #6 spot.

Many called his casting an incredible gamble, but Craig successfully brought James Bond into the 21st century with his portrayal of 007 in Casino Royale. Previously a relative unknown outside the UK, Craig’s excellent portrayal of a darker, more vulnerable Bond has lead beyond the follow-up film to show his versatility in other works.

George Clooney took the top place on last year’s inaugural Top 49 Men list. The 2007 list sees David Beckham at the top.
