Eva Green joins Bafta panel for Rising Star Award

27-Nov-2007 • Actor News

Bond girl Eva Green has joined the panel of experts who will finalise a shortlist of top five contenders for the ‘Orange Rising Star Award’ for breakthrough stars in 2007.

It is the only Bafta award which is decided by film fans’ votes.

The voting will be opened to the public on 8 January, and the winner will be named at the ceremony on 10 February.

Eva, who played James Bond’s love interest Vesper Lynd in ‘Casino Royale’, has also been joined by film director John Madden in the panel.

The French actress was proclaimed the winner of the award last year.
