Two off-topic stories featuring quotes from James Bond actors are doing the tabloid rounds today, involving boots and potatoes.

Malaysia Sun: Unlike his James Bond character, who is always seen in sharp suits and smart shoes, Craig prefers dressing down in a pair of Converse boots. The Casino Royale star has admitted that he has a craze for the popular casual footwear, so much so that he has built up quite a sizeable collection of the shoes. "Put me in a pair of Converse All Star baseball boots and I'm happy. They're great for working out in; they make you run better. I have them in every colour and pattern imaginable. But just plain and simple cream ones will always be my favourite."

Pierce Brosnan loves potatoes...

He recently revealed his food cravings in the February 2008 issue of Bon Appetit saying, “Potatoes-baked, mashed, roasted and boiled, or fried with cold sliced tomatoes.
