Broccoli Foundation donates $2m to USC School of Cinematic Arts
A 14th endowed chair has been created at the USC School of Cinematic Arts to further the teaching of producing following a $2 million donation from the Dana and Albert R. "Cubby" Broccoli Foundation - reports
Variety.
Producer Cubby Broccoli is best known for launching the James Bond franchise; his wife also produced in addition to writing novels and acting.
Barbara Broccoli, the couple's daughter, said, "In funding this chair at USC, my brother Michael and I seek not only to honor their work, but also to help the school build the future of the industry for years to come."
Broccoli's production company, Eon, is currently filming the 22nd Bond installment, "Quantum of Solace," due this fall.
