Pierce Brosnan has spoken enthusiastically about Colin Salmon becoming the next James Bond

03-May-2003 • Actor News

Pierce Brosnan has spoken enthusiastically about the idea of Colin Salmon, who plays Charles Robinson in TND, TWINE & DAD, becoming the next James Bond.

Speaking on the audio commentary on the new "Die Another Day" Special Edition DVD, which was recorded back in early November 2002, Brosnan said:

"I like Colin Salmon, he`s good. He`d be a great Bond. After I hang my hat up, or my Walther P99."

Salmon played both Bond and M in the screentests at Pinewood for Rosamund Pike. Also speaking on the commentary track, Pike commented:

"Yeah, wouldn`t that be amazing if Colin got to play Bond. He make a really good Bond, he made a really good M too actually!"
