Bond girl Michelle Yeoh raves about Daniel Craig`s 007

02-Aug-2008 • Bond News

Actress Michelle Yeoh, who so-starred with Pierce Brosnan in the 1997 James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies", loves Daniel Craig and says that he has taken 007 to a new level and it is more "down and dirty" now.

She was quoted saying: "I love, love, love Craig. I'm the biggest fan of the Bond series and they've taken it to a new level with Daniel. It's more gritty, more down and dirty."

But the Malaysian born actress, who is starring in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, third in the Mummy series, was quick to add that one can't compare the present Bond to the one played by Brosnan.

She added: "Brosnan is the epitome of suaveness. It's like comparing a blue sapphire and a pink diamond. They're both gems."
