Halle Berry is Ireland`s favourite Bond girl

In the week that sees the highly - anticipated new James Bond adventure, ‘Quantum of Solace’, open in Irish cinemas, a new Ford survey shows Halle Berry to be the favourite Bond girl among Irish audiences. The star of Die Another Day finished ahead of Eva Green, from the film Casino Royale, reports HGV Ireland.

The online survey was conducted in Ireland to coincide with the appearance of the new Ford Ka in the latest Bond movie. The film's beautiful but feisty leading lady, Olga Kurylenko, plays Camille, a woman with her own personal mission and who quickly becomes an unlikely ally for Bond. Some 27% of respondents chose Berry as their favourite Bond girl, compared to 12% for Eva Green and 9% for screen legend Ursula Andress from the film Dr. No.

While Berry was the clear favourite among males, females opted in large numbers for Eva Green from Casino Royale.

The survey results were as follows:

1. Halle Berry - Die Another Day (2002) 27%
2. Eva Green - Casino Royale (2006) 12%
3. Ursula Andress - Dr. No (1962) 9%
4. Izabella Scorupco - Golden Eye (1995) 6%
5. Denise Richards - The World Is Not Enough (1999) 5%
