Denise Richards joins `Dancing With The Stars` line-up
Itâs official: The new lineup for the eighth season of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" is all set.
Bond girl Denise Richards, who played
Dr Christmas Jones in the 1999 movie "The World Is Not Enough", is one of the 13 contestants signed up to the new season.
Known for her roles in films such as âWild Thingsâ and âStarship Troopers,â Denise Richards got her start as a fashion model before making her way into television and movies. She was cast as Bond girl and geo-physicist Christmas Jones in the 1999 James Bond film, âThe World Is Not Enough,â as well as appearing in films such as âDrop Dead Gorgeous,â âUndercover Brotherâ and âScary Movie 3.â In addition to her film work, Denise has made regular appearances in the comedies âSpin City,â âTwo and a Half Men,â âFriendsâ and âSeinfeld.â She is currently working on the second season of her own reality television show, âDenise Richards: Itâs Complicated,â airing on E! Entertainment Television.
The other contestants are: Belinda Carlisle, David Alan Grier, Jewel, Shawn Johnson, Lil' Kim, Gilles Marini, Ty Murray, Steve-O, Nancy O'Dell, Lawrence Taylor, Chuck Wicks, Steve Wozniak.
The season kicks off with a two-hour premiere on March 9th at 8pm EST/PST on ABC.
