Pierce Brosnan pipped to the post by David Beckham in style icons poll

The latest style survey by fashion bible Vogue, conducted among 2500 readers who were allowed to vote for more than one famous face, has identified Pierce Brosnan as an international style icon.



The current 007 was pipped to the honour of being the greatest style icon by David Beckham, who was voted the most stylish man with 51 per cent of votes. Pierce Brosnan came in second place. Jude Law, Brad Pitt and Hugh Grant came in third, fourth and fifth place respectively.

63 year-old Audrey Hepburn was voted the most stylish woman, ahead of Jennifer Aniston, Victoria Beckham, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Kate Moss.
