`Live And Let Die` on UK television today - starts an ITV Moore season
ITV launch their "Moore" season of weekly Bond films this weekend, starting with his first outing as 007 in "Live And Let Die". The season is a repeat from last year, and follows up on the "Connery" season ITV broadcast in the summer.
"Live And Let Die" (1973)
Channel: ITV1 London
Date: Sunday 14th September
Time: 2:50pm to 5:00pm
Review:
Roger Moore`s first tour of duty as James Bond sees him up against the dark powers of voodoo in the bulky shape of Yaphet Kotto, while the curvaceous Jane Seymour plays his love interest. There are some splendid action set pieces, notably a speedboat leap that set a new world record, as well as the usual array of hi-tech gadgetry and colourful locations. May be edited for language and violence.
