Activision unveils new 'Goldeneye 007' website

The domain name that fans spotted had been registered since April 2010, goldeneyegame.com, is now home to Activision's brand new "GoldenEye 007".

The single player story will be written by Bruce Feirstein, of "GoldenEye", "Tomorrow Never Dies" and "The World Is Not Enough" fame.

The website opens with the trailer and a language selection dialogue, then features news (currently the official press release), game features that describe the interface fans can expect from the game, a media section that includes screenshots and concept art, plus links to the official "GoldenEye 007" twitter and Facebook pages.

Finally, one of the featured sections is entitled "NDS" - Nintendo DS - with a coming soon message, putting an end to the rumours about the Wii being the only platform. However, like with the original "GoldenEye" it looks like Nintendo will be the only console company carrying the title.
