GoldenEye on UK television tonight - including previously censored Xenia sequences

30-Sep-2003 • Media Alert

ITV continue to make the most of their Bond rights tonight with a screening of "GoldenEye".

DVD & VHS owners take note - ITV often screen the previously-censored Xenia head-butt on Natalya and "wait for your turn" line due to the sequences being after the 9pm watershed.

Channel: ITV1
Date: Tuesday 30 September
Time: 9:00pm to 10:30pm and 11:00pm to 12:00am

Pierce Brosnan, on his first mission as 007, quickly establishes himself as the best Bond since Sean Connery and makes a fetish out of the old-fashioned values of loyalty and patriotism. Director Martin Campbell provides a stunning chase between car and tank through the streets of St Petersburg. There are also notable Bond girls in the shape of Izabella Scorupco and assassin Famke Janssen, who kills by crushing her victims between her thighs. May be edited for violence.

Directed by: Martin Campbell
Filmed in: 1995
