Aston Martin deliver One-77, thirteen left at £1.2m each
Aston Martin has started delivering its insane new One-77. The first car was spotted being delivered at Monaco's Hotel de Paris recently, though the identity of the owner remains a complete mystery - reports
CNET.
If we were to hazard a guess, the smart money would be on Jenson Button, David Coulthard or one of the many other high-profile petrol-head residents of the principality's millionaire mile.
Whoever the first One-77 belongs to, they're certainly worth a pretty penny. The uber-exclusive car costs a cool £1.2m, making it one of the most expensive vehicles on the planet -- and for good reason. It's ludicrously powerful thanks to a whopping 7.3-litre, naturally aspirated V12 engine, which produces in excess of 750bhp and more than 750Nm of torque.
It's also stunning to look at, we're sure you'll agree. The wide-mouthed front grille, beefy rear haunches and uber-sleek profile make it one of the most photogenic cars we've seen in some time. The only downside is the fact James Bond wouldn't be seen dead in one -- it's hardly the sort of car an agent could remain secret in.
Only 77 examples of the One-77 will be built (hence the name) and Aston Martin says 64 have been paid for. That leaves a measly 13 of these cars unaccounted for, so if you're interested, head over to your local Aston Martin dealership to place your order. Just make sure you've got a spare £1.2m handy or they'll laugh you out of the shop.
