James Bond themes greet Malaysia Airlines passengers on flight 007

"The Pearl of the Orient" gave a James Bond welcome to the first arrivals from London in Malaysia Airlines inaugural flight, with a local Agent 007 and a bevy of Bond girls in elegant gowns among those who received them at the Penang International Airport, report The Star.

The 236 passengers who disembarked in Penang on MAS flight MH 007, caught many by surprise when the plane landed at 3.50pm, about 40 minutes ahead of schedule, due to a tailwind.

A specially-composed Bond track of all the secret agent`s movies was played as the visitors were greeted by a stage backdrop resembling the famous camera lens, which usually appear at the beginning of Bond movies, with the slogan From Penang With Love.
