Timothy Dalton wins 'Fan Favourite' TV Guide award

Former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton has scooped a 'Fan Favourite' gong at the 2011 TV Guide awards. The two-time 007 won the 'Favourite Villain' category for his role as Alexei Volkoff in the NBC television series 'Chuck'.

The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA; the message embeds the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.



Dalton joined the cast for a story-arc last season. It was his first appearance on an American network TV series since way back in 1979, when he guested on "Charlie's Angels."
