Robert Brown dies aged 85

Robert Brown, better known to Bond fans as M, has sadly passed at the age of 85.

Born on 12th November 1918 in the Hebrides Islands of Scotland, his life had witnessed many major moments in film history, including appearances in 5 Bond films:

The Spy Who Loved Me - (Admiral Hargreaves)
Octopussy - (M)
A View to a Kill - (M)
The Living Daylights - (M)
Licence to Kill - (M)

Brown also had guest appearances on television as well as parts in many notable films, including Operation Crossbow (1965) and Ben-Hur (1959).
