Pierce Brosnan backs local UK campaign for cancer hospice

Bond star Pierce Brosnan is backing a local UK `Tree of Lights` campaign to raise money for Hampstead`s Edenhall hospice.

Brosnan has been a supporter of research into women`s cancer and has helped raise more than £4 million since his first wife Cassandra Harris died of ovarian cancer in 1991.

He told the local Ham&High newspaper: "I have much admiration for the Edenhall Hospice and the essential palliative care and support it offers.

It`s important we support this facility so patients, families and friends alike have access to this much-needed centre. Everything makes a difference."
