IO Interactive update on Project 007, still a long way off

IO Interactive gave a very brief update on 'Project 007' - the upcoming James Bond videogame - at a recent industry event.
"007 is under development, it's looking very cool", said senior technical executive producer Cris Vega. "It's going to tell the story of the first Bond and how it becomes the secret agent that he is, but that's what we can comment on."
It is doubtful that the game will be released any time before 2025 as the studio is still actively hiring key roles for the project including programmers, gameplay producers, AI developers, cinematic artists, and sound designers.
On the job listings, the project is described as: "Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story."
