Tabloid rumours for potential 'Bond Girl' roles in the 25th adventure have been surprisingly thin on the ground this go around. Usually, in the days running up to the expected press conference launch, the media is awash with speculation - some of which turns out to be accurate.
The Daily Express today touted English actress Jodie Comer as a leading contender to be announced for the film, hanging their pitch on the usual 'bookmakers slash odds' angle.
A spokesperson for bookies Coral told the paper: “Jodie Comer was the star of the show in the opening series of Killing Eve and ahead of the return of the drama, punters are backing her to become the next Bond girl where she is now the favourite in the betting.”
